The Library began its existence
in 1980. With its modern collection, knowledge
resources and innovative information services fills
an essential role for Students, faculty and the
surrounding community in their intellectual
pursuits. It is a housed in separate building with
total area of 1045.00 Sq-m with the state of the art
technological applications. It holds knowledge
resources predominantly related to Engineering,
Technology and allied subjects. The Library
collection comprises of 41861 Volumes of Books, 78
National & International printed journals and
subscribes to 991 (Full Text) major E-resources
through INDEST-AICTE Consortium, New Delhi. In
addition there are 1588 Bound volumes of back
journals, 1268 Students Project Report, and 97
Technical Proceedings. The Library has been fully
computerized with Easylib advanced multi-user
Software, all the modules have been automated
including OPAC facility. Further OPAC Facility has
been extended to all the respective departments
through Wi-Fi network which will provide online
accesses to entire library collection. The library
has 07 number of Pentium 4 Computer systems
networked for library automation.

library is an Institutional member of
DELNET. It offers access to more than a
million of bibliographic records through
internet and facility to borrow books on
interlibrary loan (ILL)
Journal articles.

arranging live transmission of ISRO-Supported
VTU-EDUSAT Lecture programmers for the
benefit of students and staff through
satellite Communication.

The college
library has become the member of British
Library Bangalore. We can borrow books
magazines & Videotapes from this library
for the benefit of staff & Students.

The College
has become the member of CMTI library
Bangalore. Our college library Can utilize
certain facilities from CMTI library. The
average attendance of readers is estimated
at 250 per day. The number of books
Consulted by the staff & students at the
premises is about 150 per day and the
number of books issued for home is about
250 per day. The access for the students &
staff are available in the reference
section till 8.00 A.M to 8.00 P.M and it
will be further extended during
examinations time.
