Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 1985 and is managed skillfully by an experienced leadership and dedicated team of faculty possessing doctorate & post – graduates.

It has the faculty with specializations in the areas of Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering, and Computer Applications in Electric Drives assisted by well trained supporting staff.

The infrastructure has been established on par with the university requirement to cater to the needs of students in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

The faculty is involved in both Teaching and Research Activities. Consultancy assignments are being taken up.

There is a good rapport between the faculty and the students and effective interaction is present with industries to acquaint the learners with recent trends and practices.

It has well established Departmental Library having collection of useful technical books.

The department is committed to the growing needs of the students to know the latest information by organizing lectures and seminars by experts from both Institutes of National reputation and Industries.
